How to adjust the voltage regulator overvoltage protection

The overvoltage light of the regulator is on when the input voltage is too high and exceeds the input range of the regulator, causing the overvoltage light of the regulator to light up. You can take a multimeter to measure the output voltage of the voltage stabilizer between 250 volts and 245 volts when the light is red, which proves that the voltage stabilizer is an overvoltage alarm and has no protection function. How to adjust the voltage regulator overvoltage protection? The general voltage stabilizer has a main control circuit board, and there are overvoltage adjustable resistors on the circuit board. Which one needs to be determined and searched. The voltage stabilizer overvoltage protection will cause the overvoltage light of the voltage stabilizer main control board to light up. Try to adjust the adjustable resistor near the overvoltage light of the voltage stabilizer when it is on. Look clockwise, if not, adjust it counterclockwise and adjust it a little more until the light is off. At this point, the adjustment of the voltage stabilizer overvoltage protection is completed.

The working principle of the voltage stabilizer: Since some electrical appliances contain coil components, eddy currents that hinder the current will be generated at the initial stage of power-on. The generation of eddy currents will not only weaken the instantaneous voltage when the electrical appliances are started, resulting in slow start-up, but also strengthen the transient generated after the circuit breaker. voltage, sparks may damage the circuit. At this point, a voltage regulator is needed to protect the normal operation of the circuit. The voltage regulator consists of a voltage regulator circuit, a control circuit, and a servo motor. When the input voltage or load changes, the control circuit performs sampling, comparison, and amplification, and then drives the servo motor to rotate, so that the position of the voltage regulator carbon brush changes. By automatically adjusting the turns ratio of the coil, the stability of the output voltage is ensured. The voltage stabilizer with larger capacity also works on the principle of voltage compensation.

The voltage stabilizer consists of the following parts: adjustment circuit, sampling circuit, sampling amplifier, and reference circuit. During the voltage regulation process, it is assumed that the output voltage has reached the preset voltage. When the output voltage changes, the sampling circuit obtains the sample and compares it with the reference circuit to determine whether the output voltage has changed to high or low, and judges the amount of change, thereby controlling the adjustment circuit to work, prompting the adjustment circuit to adjust the output voltage to low or high change until the output reaches the preset voltage.

Special note: The overvoltage protection trip of the voltage stabilizer is not necessarily due to the weight problem of the machine, and it is not the only reason. It is also possible that the voltage of the grid line is indeed very high, or the overvoltage protection value is set improperly. For any reason, please don't panic, call the after-sales technicians in time to provide you with professional technical services.
